Stay away from cotton and cotton-like materials that can cause heavy friction on your braid. We recommend sleeping on something silky or satin like. Many in our bramble use bonnets or … pantyhose :). Each morning use hairspray and a comb (or your fingers) to smooth any rogue strands towards your braid. A well-kept braid can last for 3 or 4 days. With practice, you could maintain your braid up to a week.

These delights are already woven into your experience. Discover the flower colors of the season and consider whether gold or silver flatter your tresses.
Always visit the Fairies before the Braiders. Though our fairies are magical, they cannot bring themselves to pull silk through impenetrable braids.
Every single time! Though baldies shall beware!
To learn and master most of our extensive braids, it takes 4 years of training and practice. Our apprentices learn different handholds and how to curate each style to unique hair types, densities, and lengths.
Your braider may add any of these four nourishing and styling products to your hair: an aloe based gel, a hair oil blend, hairspray, and/or water.
Barbicide is a disinfectant solution that’s most commonly used in barbershops, salons, and spas to meet hygiene standards. It comes in that iconic blue liquid you often see in tall jars on the braiders counter. It’s designed to kill germs, fungi, and viruses on combs, scissors, razors, and other non-porous tools.
There are always exceptions to rules, but generally we do not accept clients under the age of 4. A little that seems enthusiastic to receive a braid may win the heart (and back) of a willing braider. Haircuts that are less than 6″ inches long should discuss options with the hostess. We have a few braiders that specialize in braiding shorter hair. Hair under 2″ we recommend that you wait until the next season. We braid beards, bangs, undercuts, curly hair, course hair, floor length hair, thin hair, thick hair. Be scared naught.
The magical silken strands are attached to one strand of your natural hair. The quality of the product as well as the magical technique used by the fairy are both contributing factors to “how” the fairy hair is attached. There are NO BEADS , NO GLUE and NO CLIPS used to attach the Fairy Hair!!!! The tedious procedure is successful due to professional training as well as hours and hours of dedication and practice!
Please be aware that children age 8 and below do not retain the Fairy Hair as long as adults! Younger children typically have very fine hair and their shedding patterns are much more frequent! I do find exceptions to this rule, and no matter what, getting sparkling hair extensions is a magical experience for all ages. Because of questionable retention time, I recommend children start with 5 strands for a first time application. This is enough to frame the face and make them feel magical and special.
There are three requirements that must be met in order for a child to receive Fairy Hair.
(1) The child must be able to speak in full sentences in order to give verbal consent to receive fairy hair.
(2) The child must be able to sit in the chair alone….NOT on your lap!
(3) The child needs to be able to sit still while in the chair.
The magical silken strands are fused to one strand of your natural hair. The Fairy Hair lasts until the natural hair it is attached to falls out. It can last a month or a day, who can say? Most clients enjoy their fairy hair for weeks to months. Some clients report even longer!! The very first time you wash, dry and style your hair after an application you may lose one or two. Do Not Panic! It is not necessarily typical or predicted for this to happen, but it’s not unlikely either! We always give a few extra for free because this can happen. This just gives you an opportunity to make a wish!!!
Yes!!!!! You can do anything you would normally do to your natural hair. Coloring, highlighting or bleaching your hair does not weaken the product or change the color of the fairy hair.
Yes!!!! You can blow dry your hair as well as use a curling iron or flat iron up to 350 Degrees! The magical strands do not melt and will not damage your hair!
In order to get a good fusion, we recommend hair strands be at least 2 inches long.
